I had the privilege of attending the final showing of our young people at the UCA Graduate Show at the  University of Creative Arts in Rochester last night.

UCA is a member of the Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF) and also the Care Leavers Progression Partnership (CLPP).

KMPF is a collaborative network which consists of three Kent based Universities (UCA, University of Kent and Canterbury Christchurch), Kent Local Authority, Medway Local Authority as well as 40 partner schools and colleges.

Greeted by the Executive Dean Mark Little, I was given a tour of the Campus and was able to meet both staff and students.

I am photographed above with the Course Leader for Further Education, Chris Wraith and Hannah Knapp
the Widening Participation Manager at the University.

One of our four Universities here in Medway I am particular proud of the students here in the Further Education Department as they are all  our Medway Young People who go on to great things around the country and indeed the world.

It was an exciting evening and I am looking forward to returning next term to see them at work.

Photograph above shows me with Chris Wraith and Hannah Knapp, and below with the Executive Dean Mark Little.
