St Matthews Church, Wigmore – Open Gardens Weekend Saturday & Sunday 20th & 21st June 2015

I had a busy day visiting some of the wonderful gardens that were open today with my wife and granddaughter and I thoroughly recommend them to you for a visit tomorrow if you can make it.

Above I am pictured with Paul and Sue from Maidstone Road and below with Colin and Linda from Lonsdale Drive.

The it was off to Arthur Road to meet up with Colin and Jill in their wonderful garden.

Finally it was a visit to The Goldings to visit the super garden of Mick and Maggie.

Here are the details for tomorrow, I do urge you to go along and have a look, in addition to getting some wonderful ideas for your garden, you also meet some fantastic local people.

This is the ninth biennial Open Gardens Weekend organised for the people of Wigmore, Medway and beyond. There are sixteen gardens of all types and sizes for everyone to explore and enjoy over the two days. As well as refreshments, cream teas and lunches, there will be plants and other items for sale.

The entry programme is £6 and is great value for access into all the gardens. Alternatively, the entry price is £1 per garden. Programmes can be obtained at any garden on the day, or in advance by contacting any of the following:

PARKING: please do not park too near an open garden. This will help to avoid congestion and also show consideration to the neighbours.
