Presenting “Unconquered” to the Chatham Grammar School for Girls

In the company of the Deputy Lieutenant of Kent Ann West we received a warm welcome from the Head Teacher of Chatham Grammar School for Girls Christine Probin before being introduced to the School Council.

After as brief introduction from me , Ann gave a short potted history of the Lieutenancy before answering questions from the pupils. They had researched the subject of the Lieutenancy well and asked some great questions.

After this we presented them with the book which will be placed in the School Library.

This is part of my desire to present each Secondary School in Medway with a copy of the book.

A big thank you to Mrs Probin and the pupils for a wonderfully warm reception.

We are photographed above with the pupils at the presentation.
