An interesting visit to the Art for Life Exhibition in Chatham

A really interesting day yesterday, culminating in a visit to the Art for Life Painting Exhibition at the Nucleus Art Centre in Chatham.

Lots of fantastic paintings by people with learning difficulties and disabilities which shows that Art can really transform lives.

The purpose of Art for Life is to enable artists with learning difficulties and disabilities to develop their practice through the provision of studio space and guidance from professional artists. It is important to stress that the members of Art for Life are considered to be artists in their own right.

Art for Life can be contacted at artforlife01@gmail.com

The Works of Art are on display until the 29th January and I would recommend a viewing.

I am photographed above with two of the Trustees of Art for Life, Secretary Gill Adams (right) and Treasurer Linda Goosey (left).
