Presenting “Unconquered” to Rainham School for Girls

DSC_1331

Continuing my tour of our Medway Secondary Schools, it was my pleasure to visit Rainham School for Girls today to present them with their copy of the History of the Lord Lieutenancy of Kent called “Unconquered”. Witten by David McDine it is a fantastic book which I hope will be used for Citizenship lessons in the future.

I am in the process of presenting a copy of the book to each Secondary School in Medway.

Accompanying me once again was the Medway Liaison Deputy Lieutenant Russell Race who gave a short history of the Lieutenancy before signing and presenting the book to the Head Boy and Girl.

We are photographed above at the presentation.

Thank you to all at Rainham School for Girls for a wonderfully warm welcome.
