It was a pleasure to be able to attend the launch of Young People United today at Mid Kent College in the company of the Kent Youth Police and Crime Commissioner Kerry Boyd. Pictured above with the Chair of the Medway African and Caribbean Association Carol Stewart.

The aim of Young People United is Uniting Young People to celebrate Diversity. It is made up of young people from across Kent and Medway, from different backgrounds and races. They are part of the Medway African and Caribbean Association and today were supported by Medway Youth Services, Medway Youth Trust , Time to Change and of course Mid Kent College.

There were plenty of activities for young people, one in the art department designing a banner and below shows Kerry helping out with the painting of the banner.
