An excellent Question Time at The Robert Napier School in Gillingham

Question time

I joined Rehman Chishti MP and enjoyed an excellent Question Time organised by the Citizenship Department of The Robert Napier School in Gillingham yesterday.

It is always an engaging event with speakers from all of the political parties fielding questions from students.

Last evenings questions covered :

1. Does prison work?

2. Do you agree that Britain should intervene in the Islamic state crisis? If so, to what extent?

3. In light of the outcome of the Scottish Independence referendum, in what ways do you now feel powers should be devolved within the United Kingdom?

4. With Medway Maritime Hospital being put into special measures what steps do you feel the local authority could take to appease public concern?

Joining Rehman Chishti the Member of Parliament for Gillingham and Rainham and political activists from the other parties on the panel were two students, Nathan Lee and Daniel Quirk who are also both members of the Medway Youth Parliament.

My congratulations to the students and staff of The Robert Napier School for another excellent Question Time.

Photograph above shows me with Rehman, Nathan, Daniel , James Peck (another student and member of the Medway Youth Parliament and the other members of the panel.
