A warm welcome at the Kent Police Safety Store at Bluewater today

I took the opportunity of popping in to the Kent Police Safety Store on the upper floor of Bluewater near Marks and Spencers today.

The shop is in it’s present position until the New Year and is fully manned by both Kent Police and volunteers, offering all sorts of safety information including the marking of bikes.

Please do visit members of the North West Kent Crime Prevention Panel (NWKCPP) who are at the store daily. They exist to raise awareness to the public about all aspects of crime prevention and offer advice to reduce the risk of them becoming a victim.
They provide advice and leaflets on crime prevention, sell safety items (such as purse chains, property alarms, rape alarms) and offer a security marking service. Visit the NWKCPP website to find out more about what they do, or visit them in the Kent Police Bluewater Safety Store. You can also contact them via their online form.I do recommend a visit next time you are at Bluewater, the team there will give you a warm welcome.

I am photographed above with PSE Lorraine Silvester and her team of volunteers.
