A great Saturday at Cozenton Park in Rainham

Continuing with the fantastic events that Medway Youth Services, in conjunction with Cyber Youth Connection have been running over the summer period for our young people, I attended a Cozzie Summer Jam on Saturday.

Events covered music, performance, Creatabot, Street Art, Trials Bike performance, scooter and skateboard competitions.

Over 100 young people attended and all thoroughly enjoyed themselves both competing and watching.

Amongst the popular exhibitions was a presentation by Think Bikes stunt display team.

I had the opportunity of presenting the prizes at the end of the day to the successful young people and am photographed above and below with the winners and runner ups.

All of the prizes were kindly donated by Kathy of the Unit 1 Skatepark based at Rochester to whom we  must say a big Thank you!

Once again the International Volunteers played a major part in proceedings and provided very popular crepes free of charge.

A big thank you to Medway Youth Services, International Volunteers, Thinkbikes, Unit 1 and local Rainham North Conservative Ward Councillor David Carr who attended and supported the afternoon event.
