Mike enjoys a busy day of School visits in Medway

I had a super day today visiting some great schools in Medway.

First stop was St Margaret’s Infants School in Rainham where I met the Head Teacher Paula Fewtrell and her staff and pupils.

I visited the classrooms and spoke to pupils who proudly showed me their work.

Photograph above shows me with Paula.

Then it was off to High Halstow Primary School  where I was greeted by two of the pupils Amber and Lily who kindly escorted me on a tour of the school. The school is part of the Williamson Trust and it was also great to meet the Executive Principal Dr Gary Holden.

Then it was off to visit Fort Pitt Grammar School where I was greeted by the Head Teacher Mrs Carol Winn. On my tour of the school I was able to see rehearsals for their production “We will Rock You”

Following this I had the pleasure of addressing the members of the U3A  on the work of Medway Council.

This evening I was privileged to attend the Annual Prize Giving at the Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School.

A really super day!
