Mike highlights the Rape Support Lines available in Kent

What to do if you have been raped or sexually assaulted

Listening to the PCC Candidates debate of Radio Kent last week, there appeared to be some confusion of the help available to rape victims. I hope it might be useful to highlight some of the assistance that is available not only in Kent but nationally.

Telephone Kent Police on 999 or for advice call 101.

Kent Police has officers specifically trained to help you

There is also a national Rape and Abuse support line

The East Kent Rape Line can be found here

Further advice can be found at the Rape Crisis helpline

Further help can be found on the Medway Council helpline page
