Consultation on Medway Council’s allocations policy

Housing Consultation Underway

Important news from Medway Council News

Medway Council has operated its current allocations policysince 2009. Since this time national and local objectives have changed.

The Housing Register in Medway has now grown to more than 15,000 applicants and the council is now consistently registering more than 400 cases per month.

Why we are consulting

We are keen to give everyone – regardless of whether they are on the Housing register – the opportunity to have their say on our allocations policy before it is finalised.

The consultation documents issued in connection with this allocation policy review are designed to stimulate some discussion and feedback about the housing register and will be used in shaping Medway Councils allocations policy.
