Mike O'Brien puts his name forward for Police and Crime Commissioner in Kent

Following speculation in the local media, Cllr. Mike O’Brien has today confirmed that he has put his name forward to Conservative Party HQ for selection as the Conservative candidate for the Police and Crime Commissioner election for Kent.
Cllr. O’Brien is currently the Portfolio holder for Community Safety and Customer Contact on Medway Council, and Chair of the Medway Community Safety Partnership.
